This is the advanced tutorial, which picks up where the basic tutorial left off.

So this tutorial covers several things. Which brushes I use, which colour mode my colour palette is set to, the importance of LIGHT DIRECTION, how to apply textures and basically reveals what a messy painter I am. XD Hopefully some people should be it interesting, though it's very hard to cover all the details so I hope I haven't missed anything deathly important out.

I would like to stress that this tutorial simply explains how I do things. This is just my personal style, and it's not the best style, nor the most complicated and it's not even remotely perfect. I really do encourage people to take some things away from this tutorial and experiment, because everyone has their own unique preferences and I'd like to see people discovering their own style that they're most comfortable with.

I hope some people find this useful in some way.

PS. It's a big file! O_O

PSS. This is also done on a different computer from the first tutorial, so don't mind the change in screen size. XD

I'm guessing you must've developed a new style, because if not, I don't think that it's wise that you came out with a tutorial, especially you.

Anyone who can copy this style exactly has already figured it out and done so. I don't really see the harm and letting people have a closer look.

Oh no, I wouldn't want to be the type of a person to tell another artist what to do (and get flamed by their fanbase). I'm just saying, although you consider your style one that's very easy and known already, I think you do a good job of it than compared to others, and if others see how you do it exactly, not only do their imitation of you get better, but you don't stand out to be unique (anymore). An artist's style is what makes them different, and in your case, probably more popular, especially to the Naruto coloring/fanart world. Get me?

Don't worry Dimez; people won't magically turn into an Amaretti just by reading through these tutorials. Part of what makes Amaretti so great is his ability to know which colors fit together and create the right mood, placement of shadows/highlights etc. These are things that can't easily be thought through a tutorial, you've got to find out for yourself.

Anyway, I really appreciate the work you've put into this, Amaretti. I sure picked up some tips that may come in handy. :)
